The Gurbani indicates that everyone knows many ways of being trapped or getting trapped (or caught in Maya’s snare, doubts, inner pollution, worldly bondage, falsehood, desires, Karamkaand, Bikaar-lust, anger, greed…).

In the same breath, the Gurbani tells us that “hardly anyone knows how to escape”.
