Where is God?

The Gurbani tells us that God dwells within our heart day and night.

ਤੂ ਹਿਰਦੈ ਗੁਪਤੁ ਵਸਹਿ ਦਿਨੁ ਰਾਤੀ ਤੇਰਾ ਭਾਉ ਨ ਬੁਝਹਿ ਗਵਾਰੀ ॥: Too hiradai gupat vasahi din raatee teraa bhaaou n bujhahi gavaaree: (O Lord!) You dwell, hidden, within the heart day and night; but the fools do not understand how to Love You. (sggs 607).

I-Am-the-Body Idea

The Gurbani Teaches us that “I-am-the body” idea is erroneous – mistaken identity. This error arises out of the body-consiousness or body-attachment (ਦੇਹ-ਅੱਧਿਆਸ, Mayaic consciousness, conditioned or contaminated consciousness, etc.).

The Gurbani removes this doubt (ਭਰਮ-ਜਾਲ:Bharam-Jaal).
