About T. Singh

The author is not a "Giaanee", "Raagee", "Sant", "Baabaa", "Pujaaree", "Priest", "Granthee", "Parchaarak", "Bhaaee", "Musician", "Swami", "Paathee", "Mahaatamaan", "Teacher", etc. Neither the author was born in such a family, nor lived with any one of them, nor wants to be one of them.

Also, the author is neither a writer, nor a scholar (ਵਿੱਦਵਾਨ), nor a philosopher, nor interested in being one.

A retired Civil Engineer in the U.S.A, the author is just an ordinary being who, as a beginner, is trying to learn along with you to see the world the way Gurbani (SGGS) does! He also writes a lot of Gurbani articles at the parent site of this Blog page. He maintains the Gurbani.Org since 1993.

Although the author was born in a Sikh family (earthly parents: Trilochan Singh and Chanan Kaur) but - as the Gurbani indicates - to be a True Sikh or Khalsaa is not a question of family of birth, heredity, ancestry, religion, race, region, social status, caste, creed, education, titles, robes, etc.; it is a question of Mool-realization (know the Truth of one's Being through the Shabad-Vichaar)! In other words, these words "Sikh" and "Khalsa" do not represent one's physical state. To the contrary, they indicate a Spiritual State to be experienced within!
